for a time, schlapfer was a ‘mapper. i had the chance to get to know him a bit online in that context and in some direct emails. And a blarticle I wrote mentioning him prominently gets a lot of page views.
I, for one, will miss him.

I’ll miss these…
From the general tone of the last year, I’d say he was torn apart by that pack of wolves some call “The Church”.
Very sad. His efforts were “first-order faithfulness”, and I have no doubt that the Lord will bind his wounds and, following a season, send him into the wilderness of our culture again.
