Major props to my wife, Beth Jones Shields, who successfully finished this morning’s RYKA IRONGIRL Columbia Triathlon. She jumped into Centennial Lake this morning around 7:30, swam 1 kilometer, then nailed 30k on her bike, and then completed the 5k run with 2600 of her closest friends! Michaela, Skye, Alia and I are very proud of her!
This was Beth’s second endurance event. Last October she biked 100 miles in a Nor’Easter during the Seagull Century.
