Stephen, I don’t mean this quite as snarky as it sounds, but why on earth would it matter? (that’s my sincere question. What follows is just commentary/venting)
I think Kiva is a *fabulous* concept. Why does there need to be a “Christian” version? What would a “Christian” version bring to the table that Kiva doesn’t? As long as Kiva is operated in an ethical manner, what could slapping a Jesus fish on the promotional materials really do to help their mission? A “Christian” Kiva just reeks of a slick PR move to make Christianity look good to unbelievers. Please, pray for no Christian-Kiva. But, Christians working WITH Kiva and donating TO Kiva would be a very good thing.
